Routine Vision Care
We offer comprehensive eye exams for patients age five and up.
Service Description
A comprehensive eye exam will include refraction and dilation. A prescription for glasses will be provided at the end of the examination. Routine eye exams are recommended every one to two years. A comprehensive eye exam office visit will take 1 to 1.5 hours. Please note that the contact lens exam and fitting will take place separately from the comprehensive eye exam (view our contact lens policy under "Insurance and Forms"). Patients with acute eye problems and pre-existing eye conditions will undergo a medical eye exam, which is different from the comprehensive eye exam. Most often, patients are prescribed glasses to correct their refractive errors.
