Glaucoma is a condition where elevated eye pressure due to fluid buildup can damage the optic nerve, causing blindness. The optic nerve is a vital structure of the eye and transmits visual information to the brain. Beri Eye Care Associates (BECA) is committed to providing care to patients with glaucoma. We use up-to-date diagnostic technology to detect and diagnose glaucoma in its early stages. Depending on the patient's individual risk factors and stage of glaucoma, it is treated with a variety of glaucoma eye drops and laser treatment. At BECA, a glaucoma office visit can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the nature of your glaucoma.
